Faith

Sunday. The pew. The quieter work of showing up.

I am not interested in a loud faith. I am interested in the kind that gets you out of the house, sits you with people you did not choose, and sends you back to the table.

Empty oak pews in a modest church, morning light on a wooden cross.

Church, for me, is a weekly return. The same room. The same prayers. The work of being a neighbor when it would be easier to be a customer. I will not put a congregation’s name on this page as if it were a sponsor.

If you want the argument, I will disappoint you. If you want the pew, there is always a seat — and if you want to talk about it, the contact page is open.

A note on Sunday
